As we enter the final day of the preseason schedule, teams around the league are taking their last opportunity to look at their rosters and see what cuts need to be made before 5 p.m. ET on October 10th.

42 players were placed on the waiver wire on Friday afternoon and according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Vegas Golden Knights have claimed 2018 first round pick Grigori Denisenko from the Florida Panthers.

On Saturday afternoon, a total of 23 players were placed on the waiver wire, according to TSN's Chris Johnston. Let's take a look at the full list.

As is always the case from the opening of the waiver wire until the end of October, the order of teams that can place a claim is based off of last season's standings in reverse. The Anaheim Ducks get the first crack at placing a claim on any of the players above, followed by the Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks.

If any of the players above go unclaimed on Sunday afternoon, they'll be assigned to their respective teams American Hockey League affiliate.
