After last night's win do the Canucks have a new number one goalie?
Spencer Martin was in the office for a second start against a power house. He faced the Av's on Wednesday, where he succeeded to a 4-3 win. He also rode the pine against the Western Conference leading Golden Knights that ended in a 5-1 win.
Altough most of the action happened in the opposing crease, Martin kept the door shut to every attack he had to face, a thing Demko failed to do.
Thatcher Demko had always been seen has the #1 goaltender, but he's been having difficulties catching a break since the season started whereas Martin has been great.
He took the Canucks to victory 6 times on 8 occassions, posting a 90.7% save percentage and a 3.12 goals against average.
