Bruce Boudreau only spent a year in Vancouver, but he truly has left his mark on the players.
In an interview before his last game, he revealed that prior this his mays game behind the bench, he held a heart to heart chat with the team's superstar in the making Elias Pettersson.

Elias Pettersson has definitely bloomed under Boudreau's guidance. It's only when Boudreau took over last year that Pettersson evolved into the high-end two-way centerman he is today. Boudreau revealed what he said to Pettersson in their chat:
