The Vancouver Canucks have made another solid move to retool the roster. General Manager Patrik Allvin just announced today that the Vancouver Canucks have acquired 19-year-old Sabres prospect Josh Bloom in exchange for defenceman Riley Stillman.
Bloom is a solid young prospect the Sabres drafted in the 2021 NHL Draft in the 3rd round 95th overall. Bloom currently has 19 goals and 40 assists in 40 games with the North Bay Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League.
Stillman is 24 and had just five assists this season with the Canucks. He has one year remaining on his current contract that pays him $1.35 million dollars annually.
