The Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs have both made some notable changes over the past couple of days, as they are both hopeful for long playoff runs.
Wednesday night they met in Rogers Arena in what could possibly be a all Canadian Stanley Cup final. In the first period Oilers defenceman would give the Leafs a gift as he would skate into his zone to retrieve the puck and then just not move afterwards giving the puck away.
The Ceci turnover would lead Leafs forward Mitch Marner to setup David Kampf to get the Leafs first goal on Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner.
Maybe Ceci forgot what team he was player for as he was a former Maple Leaf from the 2019-20 season.
