The reverse retros have been met with rave reviews from the Canuck faithful
albeit through another home ice loss. Also, albeit, without the ability to buy & wear one to cheer on their their team.
Why & how is this a thing?
On what planet would you roll out a brand new, high profile look & NOT have it available to all "18,548" in attendance. I put that in quotes because unless about 5,000 people wore their 'Rogers Arena Seat' costume from Monday night there, it was not an 18,5 head count at the Rog'.
The ones that WERE in attendance watched a talented Devils team wickedly dance around the Canucks keeping their momentum going, evident by their hot start.
Their Twitter account tweeted this out after the game & while very witty, and quite frankly hilarious, it was met with one very intriguing reply.
AHL Jokes aside, this is an alarming fact that didn't register with me until I remembered pricing them out online last night & seeing it as a pre order only.
Huge miss on a marketing level, monetary level & just a common sense level. The team on the ice IS talented, they might even turn it around, but the ownership group seems to be vastly overbearing & under educated on the business of hockey.
You want your FanBase to have the ability to look like the team they're cheering on at all times.
Let's see what Francesco Aquilini & this ownership have planned, because right now from my seats it's all a bit of a circus act.
