Kuzmenko's OT Winning goal review causing a consternation over a grey-area rule
The Canucks managed a 5-4 OT win in Dallas tonight in Thatcher Demko's return between the pipe.
Since Cale Makar's goal in last year's playoff where there had been lots of dispute over what was and what wasn't considered control and possession, a lot of similar scenarios have raised debates all-over the league.
Andrei Kuzmenko's OT Winner in tonight's matchup falls under that category after newly acquired Anthony Beauvilier entered the zone without the puck directly touching his stick's blade. Here's the sequence:
The official review deemed that Beauvilier did have control of the puck and the goal was therefore allowed, though it raised lots of debates yet again. Obviously, fans have been raging over the situation on different social medias
