LATEST | Allvin announces a new roster move, evidence points to a trade coming
The Canucks have just announced a roster move and it's definitely annoucing something else.
They've just announced that Tanner Pearson has formally been place on the LTIR. Doing so gives Allvin $3.25M more room under the cap.
"General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Tanner Pearson has been placed on LTIR."
Obviously the analyst were all over that news, but Thomas Drance didn't fail to point out that the last time the Canucks made such a move with Ilya Mikheyev, Bo Horvat was traded moments later.
The Canucks have lots of assets supespected to being on the move, it's already been said that they had been entertaining the idea of retaining a part of Brock Boeser's salary. Could it be happening rather sooner than later?
