LATEST | Huberdeau's agent attacks the Flames directly and it's not looking good
Huberdeau's been having a hard time adjusting to the west coast reality and after inking a massive $84M for the next 8 years, he's on pace to have his first season with more than a point per game since the 2017-2018 campaign.
There have been some talks that there had been some discord between him and the team's head coach, but now Allan Walsh, Huberdeau's agent, sent out a tweet last night that directly attacked the Flames' management and coaching staff.
» The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Also, negativity sucks the joy right out of players. cc:

Huberdeau was asked about his agent's tweet today and stipulated he didn't ask for the tweet to be sent out. Though on my end, I feel like this would be big enough to be considered as a fireable offense.
It's not the first time that Walsh as taken his frustration to Twitter, not too long ago
Marc-Andre Fleury was in the middle of it between Walsh and the Golden Knights.
Huberdeau has 36 points through 52 games this season, it's a major decrease in production from the Quebecor since he collected nothing less than 115 points last season.
The Flames on their end are miles away from knowing the success they had last year. As they currently sit 9th in the western conference, they have yet to secure their playoff spot.
You'd think that will this defensive core and all that firepower upfront, they'd be in the driving seat. But as Walsh said: negativity sucks the joy right out of players. Perhaps it's time for a coaching change?
