LATEST | The worst is confirmed for the Canucks and Filip Hronek
The Canucks made an emergency recall last night when Jack Rathbone was called. As expected it came with bad news in the team's defensive core.
In order to make an emergency call-up you must be under the 12 forwards, 6 defensemen, and 2 goaltenders, now it was just observed that Hronek was not on the ice for this morning's practice and it was confirmed later on that he would not play for the remainder of the calendar:
«There's really no reason for him to come back. He's going to have a long time to make his shoulder perfect.''
The line-up for tonight's game is in, and Aidan McDonough is expected to have a second opportunity to prove his worth on Jack Studnicka and Sheldon Dries' side.
Tocchet confirmed that Hronek would be out of work for the remainder of the year after playing only 4 games with à Canucks' jersey. Over that span, he collected 1 assist, but the fans were truly able to see what he could bring to the table.
