New Team enters the chat for Brock
It's going to be a while before we actually see a deal through for forward Brock Boeser, but now the suggestions are coming from everywhere.
In their most recent episode, Donnie and Dhali have reported that there had been interest from the Flames to acquire the right-winger.
Now, it does make sense for that team to inquire about him, they do need to add another winger to their top-6 and Boeser could absolutely be a match for superstar Jonathan Huberdeau.
There's also a bunch of former Canucks in the Flames' locker room, so plenty of players to vouch for him.
Donnie and Dhali went further ahead in their analysis when they suggested a Max Pacioretty trade where the team would literally give up Boeser only to gain the cap space.
Though I remember when the Flames pulled a trade like this over the summer when they moved Sean Monahan, they gave up a 1st round pick along with him for nothing. Now the Canadiens GM looks like a genius.
Do the Canucks need cap space that much? To give up an almost point/game player for nada?
