Shocking: Hockey player arrested during game
There was a wild scene in the NAHL as the New Hampshire Mountain Kings took on the Johnstown Tomahawks game on Sunday. The game ended up 2-1 in favour of the Tomahawks, but all the news came from the Mountain Kings.
Mountain Kings Defenseman Yahor Ramanau was arrested during the first intermission. The arrest was due to an outstanding warrant issued two years prior for aggravated assault.
The 20-year-old Ramanau is in his second stint in The NAHL. He has yet to record a point through four games with the Mountain Kings. The Belarusian forward had previously played one game for the Wichita Falis Warriors.
We will soon see the next steps for Ramanau and the Mountain Kings moving forward. The Mountain Kings will take on the Danbury Hat Tricks on Oct 6th, presumably without Ramanau.
