Sweet Revenge...Kind of.

It happened today in Canucks history, we waltzed into Beantown & got revenge for losing Game 7 at home for the Stanley Cup 18 months earlier. Right?
Yikes. Ok, maybe not.
But they DID overcome a 2-1 deficit, score 4 goals at the TD Banknorth Centre & leave with a win.
Had they done any or all 3 of those during the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals chances are we are talking about immortality for that roster in the form of a Championship for the city of Vancouver. Instead the fan base was ramped right up for this return trip to the East Coast.
The game sheet shows you that the game had a temperature.
A pair of fights from Maxim Lapierre & Dale Weise & goals from some of the names you love from yester-year.
This weekend we slide back into Boston in game 4 of a 5 game trip, the second of 2 back two backs 'back to back' with a single day in between. For those of you who were in my math class, that means it's the 4th game in 5 nights.
By that time, who knows what the Canucks' lineup, record & demeanour looks like, with so many moving parts & intangibles. We can only hope this team isn't left with this same facial expression we saw post game on June 15 2011.
It still stings doesn't it Canucks fans?
