We have a tragic story to bring you from the hockey world and want to warn you, details in this article may be disturbing to readers.

According to Miami-Dade Police, they received a call from a condo complex over reports of gunshots. Upon arrival at the scene, police found two women, later identified as former NCAA female hockey players Sidney Capolino and Meghan Moore with gunshot wounds. A male was also at the scene, but took his own life after being found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Both Capolino and Moore tragically lost their life at the scene and it was later revealed that the man who was at their condo, Luis Napoles, 40, was a stalker of Meghan Moore.

New England College, where Capolino and Moore attended and played hockey together, released a statement following the tragic news.

"Meghan and Sidney were known to many on campus, and we are keeping their families and friends in our thoughts and our prayers at this difficult time," New England College's statement reads. "As the campus community pauses to process the gravity of the event, it is important that we support and care for each other."

The thoughts of everyone here at Canucks Daily are with the family and friends of Sidney Capolino and Meghan Moore at this difficult time.
