LATEST | Top-six forward option becomes available for Patrik Allvin
The Vancouver Canucks have been playing some really good hockey so far this season. Offensively, defensively and in between the pipes, the Canucks have an opportunity to win night in, night out with the roster they currently have.
While the Canucks are in a good spot right now, sitting second in the Pacific Division, Patrik Allvin continues to work the phone lines to help upgrade his team.
It's been known for a little while now that the Canucks are wanting to add another defenceman, as well as a top-six forward, one of which has become available in recent days.
According to Bruce Garrioch, the Anaheim Ducks are willing to listen to offers on Frank Vatrano, who is on pace to score 40 goals this season.
Vatrano, 29, has one year remaining on his contract following the 2023-24 season with a cap hit of $3.65 million. Allvin would have to move some money out in order to make a deal work with the Ducks.
In 29 games this season, Vatrano has recorded 23 points (14 goals, nine assists), 33 penalty minutes and is a minus-eight.
Do you think Frank Vatrano would be a good fit for the Canucks? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
