The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has announced their decision whether or not to give supplemental discipline to Jason Dickinson of the Chicago Blackhawks.

During the third period of Saturday's game between Vancouver and Chicago, Blackhawks forward Jason Dickinson laid a pretty dangerous blindside hit on Canucks forward Filip Chytil.
Chytil struggled to get to his feet, but eventually left the game and did not return, while Dickinson wasn't even given a penalty on the play and many were wondering if he'd be given a fine or suspension by the Department of Player Safety for the incident.

Rick Dhaliwal gives update on NHL Player Safety's decision with Jason Dickinson

In a post on X this morning, Rick Dhaliwal of Donnie & Dhali shared that there is no supplemental discipline (fine or suspension) coming for Chicago's Jason Dickinson.
"Nothing coming from DOPS today regarding games last night for those asking about the Jason Dickinson hit on Filip Chytil in Vancouver." Dhaliwal said.
The decision by the Department of Player Safety on Sunday isn't sitting too well with Vancouver Canucks fans on social media, which is understandable because it was an unnecessary and dangerous hit from Dickinson.
While some fans weren't happy with the decision, others weren't too pleased by the lack of response by Vancouver Canucks players who were on the ice at the time of the hit.
At the time of writing this, there hasn't been any update from the Vancouver Canucks or Rick Tocchet on the status of Filip Chytil, but based on his injury history, it wouldn't be surprised if he sits out tonight's game against Utah Hockey Club.
If Chytil isn't able to suit up for tonight's game, then the Vancouver Canucks will likely have to call someone up from the Abbotsford Canucks, with Arshdeep Bains or Linus Karlsson being options.
