Bruce Boudreau comments on the Canucks' captaincy: Says a lot about Quinn Hughes' personality
The Canucks have had a handful of different coaches over the last little while. Bruce Boudreau was one of them and his tenure sure won't be forgotten. Boudreau sure left an impression on the young players even though he wasn't given a long opportunity behind the team's bench.
BOUDREAU SPEAKS OUT ABOUT HUGHES' CAPTAINCY
Boudreau had already spoken on the subject when he stated that Elias Pettersson should be a strong candidate, but he never took Hughes out of the question. Today, he spoke on Donnie and Dhali and made quite the statement on the type of person and leader Hughes was:
"I thought he was getting more mature daily.."
Former #Canucks Head Coach & NHL Network Analyst Bruce Boudreau joined the guys to chat about Quinn Hughes being named captain by the #Canucks Hughes has already showcased his new role during the NHLPA/NHL Media Tour.
With the team's official training camp set to start, Hughes will be seen for the first time as the Canucks' captain during the exhibition games.
