LATEST | Canucks celebrate recent signing in social media post
It's been nearly four weeks since the free agent market opened and as we all know by now, Patrik Allvin was very active on Canada Day with a trio of signings that will help the Canucks roster next season.
One of those signings was left-shot defenceman
Carson Soucy, who inked a three-year contract with the Canucks worth $9.75 million ($3.25 million AAV).
On Thursday, the Canucks made a post on their social media accounts celebrating Soucy, who turns 29 today!
The Viking, Alberta native has plenty of good years ahead of him and hopefully will be a pillar on the blue line for the Canucks over the course of his contract. Last season with the Seattle Kraken, Soucy had 16 points (three goals, 13 assists) in 78 regular season games and followed that up with two points during 14 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Happy Birthday to Carson from everyone here at CanucksDaily!
