Retired star winger Jakub Voracek doesn't think much of former Canucks' head coach Alain Vigneault.

Vigneault, now retired, coached Voracek in Philadelphia in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

Speaking on the Chris Maher show, Voracek didn't mince words when discussing Vigneault and his coaching tenure in Philly.

"I always stood up for the guys. I would say whatever I thought. I always got shit from my coaches especially from him. Because, you know, his ego was so f***ing high that he couldn't fit in the door sometimes," Jakub Voracek.

Voracek said that Vigneault was given too much power when hired by the Flyers organization and, before being fired in the 2021-22 season, had totally "checked out."

Vigneault was head coach of the Canucks from 2006-2007 to 2012-13; the team finished first in their division in six of those seven seasons.
