Pair of Canucks dominant in OHL season debut
The Canucks drafting abilities have been paying considerably paying off recently. Their performances have raised eyebrows and considerably deepened their depth cha, from their first-round draft picks to their lower-end choices.
Hunter Brzustewicz, a 3rd round pick this season, recorded four assists through the first two games. The 18-year-old defenseman scored 57 points in 68 games last season in the OHL with the Kitchener Rangers. Brzustewicz has also played well defensively for the Rangers.
Kirill Kudryavtsev, a 7th-round pick last season, recorded two points in his game yesterday, bringing him up to 4 points in 2 games on the season. The 19-year-old defenseman is in his 3rd year with the Soo Greyhounds.
The Canucks will hope these guys continue to play well and develop in the OHL. Both players will be expected to play big minutes for their respective teams.
