The Vancouver Canucks may be in a new-era under Rick Tocchet and so far, it's going quite well, but one year ago, another coach was behind the bench - Bruce Boudreau.

Boudreau was beloved by Canucks fans and hockey fans in general and we've officially passed the one-year mark since the former Vancouver bench boss made National Hockey League history.

On October 27th, 2022, the Vancouver Canucks defeated the Seattle Kraken by a score of 5-4 and with the victory, Bruce Boudreau earned his 600th career win as a head coach in the NHL and became the second-fastest to reach that mark, only behind Hall-of-Famer Scotty Bowman.

Boudreau would go on to spend the next three months behind Vancouver's bench before management decided to make a change in January, replacing him with Rick Tocchet. Plenty of fans were not happy with how the situation was handled regarding Boudreau's firing from the organization and it lingered for a little while, but after the team showed some promising signs under Rick Tocchet, the fan base turned their attention to the future.

Were you sad to see Bruce Boudreau fired earlier this year or was it the right time to make the move? Let us know your thoughts in the poll below!
