REMINISCING | The full story to Brock Boeser's NHL debut is out: An unforgettable moment for him
It's not a secret, Brock Boeser's lived through a roller coaster of emotions in the past two years. Injuries, his father's sudden passing all showed and led to the events we've witnessed all season.
Brock entered the league in 2017 and a crazy line of events led to the former 1st rounder playing his first ever NHL game in front of his family members in his native Minnessota against the Wild.
Sportsnet650 released a video sequencing everything that happened for the young Boeser during that 24 hour span:
Since Tocchet came in, we've seen a whole new player in Brock Boeser and hopefully he continues to strive once the season starts again. The Canucks' number 6 will look to prove that he's the 30-goal scorer the Canucks drafted in 2015.
Boeser developed chemistry with Miller late in the season and if the pair can keep it going, matched to Pettersson and Kuzmenko duo, the Canucks are going to be a hard team to defend.
