BREAKING | Canucks make an official announcement regarding Elias Pettersson
After months of speculation and the fan base being nervous regarding his contract status, Elias Pettersson is finally locked up long-term.
On Saturday, the Vancouver Canucks announced that they've agreed to terms on an eight-year contract extension with Swedish forward Elias Pettersson that begins in the 2024-25 season. The total dollar value and average annual value are unknown at this time.
"Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Elias Pettersson on an eight-year contract."
Pettersson, 25, has appeared in 62 games with the Vancouver Canucks this season where he's put up 75 points (29 goals, 46 assists), eight penalty minutes and is a plus-12.
