Former Vancouver Canucks forward Todd Bertuzzi gave his take on the reported feud between Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller, prior to the latter's trade to New York.

One of the biggest stories this season out of Vancouver was the reported feud between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson, which led to the Canucks explore the trade market for both players.
Ultimately, the Canucks dealt J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers for package that included Victor Mancini and Filip Chytil, while Elias Pettersson, who was struggling to produce offensively, remained in Vancouver.

Fresh off being named head coach of the GOJHL's Cambridge RedHawks, former Vancouver Canucks forward Todd Bertuzzi was a guest on Donnie & Dhali where he discussed the feud between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson.
Bertuzzi said that while he did tune into some Vancouver Canucks games this season, there's been so much drama and he doesn't understand how Miller and Pettersson couldn't figure things out.
"I follow. Unfortunately, there's just so much drama that's happened out there that it was getting kind of annoying and hard to watch. I just couldn't understand how two men couldn't figure it out and come to a compromise because that J.T. Miller, he's a legit game-breaker. He's one of those guys that when you have them, you want to keep them." Bertuzzi said.

He added, "It was hard seeing him go and I have so much respect for Toc [Rick Tocchet] and Adam Foote and that staff that I was surprised it carried on for that long."
The J.T. Miller trade with the New York Rangers worked well out for both parties involved in the reported feud, despite neither organization making it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs this spring.
Miller has gone on to register 28 points (11 goals, 17 assists) in 28 games with the Rangers, while Elias Pettersson had 12 points - including ten in the month of March, before suffering an injury against New York on March 22nd.
