Important line-up changes: Elias Lindholm back from his injury?
There have been lots of talks around Elias Lindholm and very few valuable updates regarding the nature of his injury or even a realistic timeline.
The team made little to no comment on the subject, but Elias Lindholm made his first appearance with his teammates since he last played against the Flames. The many reporters attending the Canucks' practice confirmed that the Swede was back on the ice, wearing a normal jersey:
Fully attended morning skate. Lindholm is out there in a regular jersey. No Demko.
At this point, there were no changes to the Canucks' forward lines; Lindholm skated as the extra man. Podkolzin remains on Blueger and Mikheyev's wing, and the top six are identical.
Mark Friedman, Noah Juulsen, Phil Di Giuseppe and Elias Lindholm would be expected to sit the game against the Golden Knights:
Joshua-Miller-Garland
Höglander-Pettersson-Boeser
Mikheyev-Blueger-Podkolzin
Suter-Åman-Lafferty
Hughes-Hronek
Soucy-Myers
Zadorov-Cole.
Friedman-Juulsen
Extras: PDG, Lindholm
DeSmith had a longer session with Clark during pre-practice. Let's see who comes off first.
Tocchet will have lots of puzzles to solve and very little time to do so once Lindholm returns. Will Lindholm play the wing on the top six? Will Tocchet reunite the Lotto and Good Job Boys lines to place Lindholm with Hoglander and another right-wing?
