LATEST | An announcement has been made regarding Canucks' rookie Jett Woo
The Canucks made a last-minute announcement this morning when they called up the 2018 second-round selection Jet Woo. The rookie is getting his first opportunity with the big club. However, it has yet to be determined whether or not he'll be getting a chance to play in his first NHL game.
An announcement was made in regards to his first trip with the Canucks. After wearing number 52 in the Canucks development camps and training camp and a variety of numbers during his time in Abbotsford, the youngster will be harbouring the 44 in Vancouver:
Jett Woo will wear #44 after his call up to the NHL #Canucks
The 12th player to wear that number for Vancouver, a list that includes Dave Babych, Todd Bertuzzi, Erik Gudbransson & most recently, Kyle Burroughs.
