The Vancouver Canucks wrapped up their five-game road trip with a stop in Seattle against the Kraken and it wasn't the night that they were hoping for, as Quinn Hughes didn't play in the last half of the third period.

Quinn Hughes returned to Vancouver's lineup on Wednesday for the first time in 26 days after dealing with an oblique injury and unfortunately, it doesn't look like he's fully recovered from that.

Rick Tocchet gives update on Quinn Hughes after missing last half of third period vs Seattle

Vancouver started off Saturday's game strong, taking a 2-1 lead into the first intermission, but Seattle stormed back with three goals in the second and two in the third to win by a score of 6 to 3.
Just as the buzzer sounded at the end of the third period, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman took to social media sharing that Quinn Hughes didn't play the final 9:05 of the third period.
"Bigger concern than the loss for Canucks:

Quinn Hughes did not play the last 9:05" Friedman said.
After the loss when meeting with reporters, Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet said that tweaked something during the game and would be evaluated further on Sunday.
"He tweaked something, so we'll look at it tomorrow. I'm not sure right now what's going on." Tocchet said.
This could be absolutely crushing as the entire season, Rick Tocchet has «downplayed» every injury a player suffers, claiming it's a lot less serious that it actually was.
With the Vancouver Canucks trying maintain their position in the wild card standings in the Western Conference and push for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, perhaps Quinn Hughes forced himself to return earlier than he should've in order to help his team get to the big dance.
Thankfully for Rick Tocchet's group they don't play again until Wednesday night, so the team and Quinn Hughes have a few days to figure out what's going on and if he'll be able to suit up against Anaheim.
Puck drop for Wednesday's game against the Anaheim Ducks, which will be their first game at Rogers Arena since February 8th, is set for 7:30 pm PT and can be viewed on Sportsnet Pacific.
