Vancouver Canucks superstar Elias Pettersson has not been himself going back tot the end of last season. The speculation mounts of he is dealing with something between the ears or an injury, and a recent video showcases a lot wrong with his game right now.

Through the first 9 games of the season, the disappointment in his lack of effort seen by fans and even his own coach has drawn a lot of criticism, as he only has 1 goal and 3 assists.

He is not only failing the "eye test", but the analytics are there to back up what is being seen as well. The 25-year-old forward has just 14 shots on net, and is suffering from his all-time worst shooting percentage of 7.1%. The most worrisome aspect of this statistic is that he holds a career shooting percentage of 16.5%...

Viral Clip circulating exposes Elias Pettersson's Offensive Issues

When the Vancouver Canucks suffered one of the worst losses in recent memory, as they were shutout by the New Jersey Devils this past week 0-6, a video has surfaced exposing/highlighting just how underwhelming Elias Pettersson has been.

The Canucks won the draw and the puck was delivered to Pettersson right into the slot with absolutely nobody in his way. Pettersson hesitated, took some choppy steps and fired a weak shot right in the chest of Devils goalie Jakob Markstrom.

Fans went ballistic online, saying that rookie Elias Pettersson would score that goal 9/10, or that at least he would make a drag and make a good shot, but instead, he has looked like a shell of himself.

As you can see, fans are losing their minds over how disappointing that shot looked, and are now using it as an indication that there is a more serious thing going on.
