LATEST | Brendan Gallagher looking at massive suspension after violent and dirty hit
Brendan Gallagher had always been known for his elevated intensity, but tonight he took a step further and Adam Pelech paid the price for it.
The Canadiens' number 11 crosses the ice and delivered a massive hit center ice. Problem is that his elbow stayed behind and caught the Islanders' defender to the head. The analyst have begun pleading the case and Gallagher is looking at a hefty suspension:
Gallagher was assessed a five minute major along with a game misconduct that could've costed the game.
Even his former teammates gave his thought. P.K. Subban, NHL alumni, gave his thoughts on the penalty and stated that Gallagher deserved to be punished accordingly.
