This past Monday we were supposed to get a doctor's clearing of Canucks' sniper Brock Boeser to return to the lineup.
Today is now Friday, and the Minnesota native has finally arrived back at practice. Talk of a scarring issue around the incision location of his surgery is said to be the culprit of his hiatus. Infections & hockey gloves go hand in hand, so this is at least of SOME concern for Canucks brass.
One of Nanaimo's finest Chris Faber shared a shot of Brock hitting the ice this morning on his Twitter account.
The 'number' for Brock wasn't 40 this year, as in goals. It was 82, as in games played & it doesn't take Bob MacKenzie to see that both those numbers are now in real jeopardy.
Let's collectively hold our breath to see if one of the league's best pure goal scorers makes the walk down the tunnel tomorrow night at the Rog' when his team takes on the Nashville Predators.
