LATEST | Allvin announces roster movement under emergency conditions
The Vancouver Canucks have been struggling with tons of injuries this season and they have not yet seen the end of it, since they are once again confronted to roster movement.
Allvin announced that they had recalled Jack Rathbone under emergency conditions once again, meaning that a defenseman that was playing against St. Louis will be unable to play tomorrow night. Weird move since the team's newest acquisition is a left-handed defenseman.
To clarify the situation, here's what the emergency call-up is for:
'Teams can still bring up a player by exercising an emergency recall when an NHL club's roster has fewer than two goalies, six defensemen, and 12 forwards healthy. The player will have to be returned promptly after the game, but they can be recalled again in time for the next game.''
The Hockey News
Expect Rathbone to be in the line-up for their tilt against the Flames and he should be sent down a few hours after the game. We'll keep you posted once we know more about the undisclosed injuries and tomorrow's previewed line-up.
