The Panthers put an end to an extremely tight matchup between them and the Hurricanes. Matthew Tkaclutch scored the game-winning goal (again 😅) with only a few seconds on the board in Game 4.

The first two games went to overtime, the third one was a 1-0 shutout and it took a Wes McCauley penalty call with a minute remaining in the game to end Carolina's season.

RBA Post-Game Comments causing a stir

"That's the unfortunate part of this, (people are) going to look back and everyone's going to say you got swept. That's not what happened. I watched the game. I'm there. I'm cutting the game. We're in the game... it could have been four games the other way."

While he makes valid points regarding the direction this series took, the end score still states 4 wins to none. While every game was tightly disputed, Matthew Tkachuk always had the answer and no one on the Canes' side had a reply.

The Panthers are off to the cup final, they may be playing the winners of another sweep as the Golden Knights try and end things in game 4 in Dallas.
