LATEST | Official statement from the Canucks in regards to the passing of a former coach
The Hockey world is in shock since a saddening news made its way to our feeds.
The Canucks made a formal statement to acknowledge the passing of Paul Jerrard. He had previously served as an assistant coach in Utica when they were affiliated to the Canucks:
"We are saddened to learn of the passing of Paul Jerrard. Paul served as an assistant coach for the Utica Comets from 2013-2016, who at the time were the AHL affiliate of the #Canucks. Our thoughts are with his friends and family."
We wish to send our deepest condolences to his family and friends during this time of mourning.
