REMINISCING | 26 Years anniversary of one of the craziest fights in Canucks history
Not too long ago fighting was just as important as goalscoring for the entertainment in a hockey game. Back in those days, the teams had enforcers that patrolled the ice.
Donald Brashear will surely go down in history as one of the Canucks' top enforcers and so will Marty McSorley. Precisely on this day, 26 years ago, the pair produced one of the heaviest fights ever filmed:
Marty McSorley and Donald Brashear were known for their play with their gloves on the ice and this video only shows you why. The two built up quite a history over time, while Brashear grew to be a top-end enforcer in his time, McSorley was known for his cheap shots.
