Luke Schenn was always known to be a heck of a leader and has always been much appreciated by the franchise that owned his rights. It surely was the case in Vancouver and he didn't stop being just as great after being traded to the Leafs.
A mom shared a wholesome video of a moment Luke and her 6 year old shared. After the young fan had sent a video specifically to the veterans, Schenn took the time to respond, even though he was in the midst of a playoff run.
Schenn's season came to an end yesterday, which will give him the opportunity to join his family. There had been rumblings that the Canucks could pursue the veteran's services once the free-agency market opens. This video is just another demonstration of what the community and the team could gain by having this guy around.
