The Canucks were playing game two of their road trip in Pittsburgh tonight and in the game's first 10 minutes, it really seemed as if Canucks were eating Penguins. Though things spiced up quite fast when only 8 minutes were needed for the experienced Pens to switch things around and come back in this one.

Along the way, the Canucks have established a new mark for mediocrity and it's John Snorthouse, Sportsnet broadcaster that pointed it out during the game. Tonight was the first time the Canucks blew a three goals lead only in the first period.

The Canucks desperately need something to change, apart from the 4-2 win against Colorado there's been no positive out of Vancouver in 2023. The team's goaltending was questionable once again tonight. The team's defensive strategy was representative of what we've seen in most games, standing still, in the middle of the ice, and waiting for the attacking team to make their play. This Penguins' goal shows it once more:

Bo Horvat has been copying Sidney Crosby's tipping game and its work wonders for him since the season began, but perhaps the Canucks should know not the leave one of the world's best players alone in his sweet spot. To help fix the Canucks' defensive woes, what should they do?
