Tocchet unveils his new lines and Kuzmenko's place is causing a consternation
The Canucks were back home after their post-break road trip and they took the ice for practice.
One thing that stood out during the road trip was the usage Rick Tocchet made of Andrei Kuzmenko after the team inked their first-year winger to an $11M deal.
Kuzmenko has seen his ice time decrease a bunch over the last few games and Tocchet's been really hard on the young man even in front of the media.
Today the Canucks' Head Coach unveiled his new lines and it's not bearing good news for Kuzmenko since everything points toward Boeser taking his spot on the team's top line with Beauvilier and Pettersson. Kuzmenko, Joshua, Dries and Studnicka shared time on the team's 3rd line.
Perhaps it's just a marketing strategy to promote Brock Boeser who is suspected of being moved, but there is no way that Kuzmenko is satisfied with this.
