RICK TOCCHET
NHL GAMES COACHED-438 WINS-178 LOSSES-200 OTL-60
Rick Tocchet is an old-school style coach that focusses on speed of the puck and having multiple shooters ready in the offensive zone. He pays attention to the little details and believes in an open environment for his coaching staff and players to bring their thoughts and ideas to him. He may be a very good option if it gets the Canucks shooting more on even strength and the power play. Too many times are they caught trying to make the pretty play or pass only to get intercepted or no shots for their effort.
MIKE VELLUCCI
NHL GAMES COACHED-0 WINS-0 LOSSES-0 OTL-0
Mike Vellucci's last head coach job was back in the 2018-19 season when he was the AHL Charlotte Checkers' head coach. That season, they set a franchise best season record of 51-17-7 and went on to win the Calder Cup. He's been the Assistant Coach of the Pittsburg Penguins but is now looking for a job running the helm of an NHL team. Rumours say he's had two meetings already with the Philadelphia Flyers so the Canucks will have to act quick if they want Vellucci.
MIKE BABCOCK

Mike Babcock. The man, the myth. the legend. Okay so this one is more of a surprise, out in left field pick but this would be a game-changer for the Canucks. Mike Babcock knows winning. He knows how to develop young talent and he knows how drive his players to secure the win. He probably won't be the most liked guy in the dressing room, but he would definitely ensure the Vancouver Canucks were taught discipline and structure. Mike Babcock is currently volunteering as a head coach at the University of Saskatchewan.
