WOW | Former NHLer wildly attacks another player in Senior Hockey
It's not uncommon to see former NHLers in Senior Leagues once they retire. Most of them still have a strong will to compete and enjoy the game a lot. Donald Brashear is a former Canuck that still hits the ice from time to time at Senior Hockey Levels.
Peter Vandermeer is one of these guys that still enjoys the game enough to play at the Senior Levels. Veteran of 2 NHL Games and 611 AHL games was always known for his ability to collect the minutes in the sin bin since he spent nothing less than 2772 minutes in an AHL penalty box.
The following video gives you a great indication as to why. The camera caught a moment in which he's in the middle of a wild altercation throwing cross-checks to his opponent's head.
We all know how Senior Hockey gets from time to time, even though we don't have any explanation on the events that led to this occurrence. It's hard to justify such gestures.
