WOW: New Lines ahead of matchup with the Avalanche
The Canucks did not take the ice this morning ahead of their tilt with the Avalanche in Vancouver. Boudreau then took the stage before the media.
It's been confirmed by the Head Coach that Collin Delia will get the start facing Nathan Mackinnon and his gang. He'll be opposed to Alexandar Georgiev. Boudreau confirmed that Jack Studnicka would regain his spot on the line-up while Lane Pederson will be in the gallery.
Boudreau was asked whether or not we would get the opportunity to see J.T. Miller take the ice sharing a line with Elias Pettersson, not only did he confirm it was happening but he also explains why it didn't happen sooner:
«I mean, I avoided it because we have three great centermen [] our best distributor of the puck is Petey and I guess they've played together when JT first got here and they were pretty successful so We're gonna try that experiment and see how it works.»
Pettersson, Miller with Kuzmenko is a line that'll certainly give the Avalanche a run for its money talent-wise.
Here's the game preview and everything you must know about this matchup. Go Canucks Go!
