LATEST | The verdict is in regarding the Canucks and Sean Monahan
If the Canucks add a top six forward this season as expected, it's unlikely to be Sean Monahan.
Rick Dhaliwal said that he doesn't get the sense he's a player the Canucks are looking to add to their lineup.
I was just told... right now I don't think the Canucks are on the Monahan train, I don't think he's a player that they're targeting,
Dhaliwal said.
Dhaliwal said that's subject to change, but at this point he doesn't think he's really on Vancouver's radar, despite some fans calling for the team to acquire him.
Monahan has 31 points in 47 games this season and has been among the league's best in the faceoff dot.
The team is still expected to acquire a top six forward, but Dhaliwal didn't say if anyone sticks out at the top of their list.
