Elias Lindholm has undergone his fair share of struggles in a Canucks uniform, with just five goals and nine points in 22 games with the team. His current point total of 41 would be his lowest in an entire season since 2015-16.

After scoring against his former club, the Calgary Flames, he did not dress in Monday night's 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night. He was initially considered day-to-day.

Unfortunately, it appears as though Lindholm could be seeing a more extended period on the sideline:

Lindholm's injury is upper-body. It is unconfirmed that he would be hand/wrist.

I am still working on a timeline.

It's probably not a good sign that he brought up how Pearson started day to day.

With the timeline undetermined and a reference to Tanner Pearson's hand injury, things certainly do not bode well for Lindholm. Pearson injured his hand in a November 2022 game against the Montreal Canadiens (who he now plays for). He underwent multiple surgeries and was limited to just 14 games in 2022-23.

This comes as goaltender Thatcher Demko was placed on long-term injured reserve, meaning the earliest he can be activated would be April 6.
