LATEST | Red Wings make last minute announcement: Bad news for the Canucks
The Canucks have an early meeting with the Red Wings this afternoon. As they prepared to face the top team in the league, the Wings just made a huge announcement that should impact the Canucks' strategy.
They just announced that the star forward Patrick Kane had been activated from the Injury Reserve, meaning he should be all set to play his first game since January 14th.
UPDATE: Patrick Kane has been activated from injured reserve.
After recovering from a hip surgery he had over the summer, Kane signed a one-year deal in Detroit to reunite with his former teammates Alex DeBrincat. In 19 games played this season, Kane registered 16 points.
