NHL makes announcement regarding the Canucks game six
The Vancouver Canucks are set to travel to Nashville to take on the Predators for Game 6 of their first round series and on Wednesday, the National Hockey League made an announcement regarding Friday's contest.
In a post on their website, the National Hockey League announced that Game 6 between the Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators will begin at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.
"The start time of Game 6 of the First Round Series between the Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators has been set for 7 p.m. ET on Friday, May 3, in Nashville. The game will be televised on TNT and MAX in the U.S. In Canada, the game will be on Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports." The NHL said.
This news likely won't sit too well with Canucks fans, as a good chunk of the fanbase will still be working when the game is supposed to begin. However, given the fact the Predators are in the Central time zone, it makes sense to have this as the early game, while Vegas and Dallas' Game 6 starts at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET.
The Canucks will have a second opportunity to finish off the series tomorrow night as well, after dropping Game 5 in Vancouver by a score of 2-1, with Nashville's first goal of that contest coming in controversial fashion and featured some questionable calls that left some players frustrated.
