Patrik Allvin has made lots of trades since he took the Canucks over; only now are we starting to see the importance of every one of them. From Casey DeSmith to Elias Lindholm, everybody has played a vital part in taking this series lead.

Allvin pulled a steal out of his pocket when he traded with their rival in Calgary. The big Russian defenceman Nikita Zadorov was acquired for an extremely reasonable price of a third and fourth-round pick. When the Canucks play the Predators on Tuesday night, it'll mark a milestone night for the Zadorov.

The big defenceman will suit up for his 50th NHL playoff game and, in doing so, will become just the fifth defenceman from his 2013 draft to hit the mark - with Darnell Nurse doing so just days ago.

Zadorov didn't see playoff hockey for his first four seasons in the NHL, but he amassed a couple of deep runs with the Colorado Avalanche that helped bolster his playoff resume.

Only Nurse, Ryan Pulock, Brett Pesce, and Shea Theodore are 2013 drafted defencemen who have played more playoff games.

Zadorov has been a warrior for the Canucks so far in their playoff series, and he'll be a big part of them advancing and adding more playoff games under his belt.
