Sportsnet makes a statement featuring Vancouver Canucks forwards Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller after a remarkable 2023-24 campaign.
The 2023-24 season was an incredible one for the Vancouver Canucks as a whole, who finished the year with the third-most wins in franchise history. Several players on the Canucks' roster had career-years in 2023-24, and among those were Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller.
Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller took their respective games to the next level last season and set new career highs in goals and points. While the season didn't end how everyone had hoped, the Canucks will need big contributions from both Boeser and Miller again in 2024-25.
In a recent social media post, Sportsnet highlighted the top ten 2023-24 goal scorers among American-born players, including Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller.
Brock Boeser came in second on their list after registering 40 goals last year. The only player he sits behind is Toronto Maple Leafs forward
Auston Matthews, who had an awe-inspiring 69-goal campaign.
As for J.T. Miller, he was tied for fourth among American-born players at 37 goals with
Brady Tkachuk of the Ottawa Senators and Anaheim Ducks forward
Frank Vatrano.
"The red, white, blue, and lots of goals. 🇺🇸"
The Canucks impressed a lot of teams around the National Hockey League last season. Coming into the year, no one expected them to be Pacific Division champions and only to be in the mix for a wild card spot, but they surprised many people. Next season, however, everyone knows what the Canucks can bring to the table, and expectations will be high given what they did during the 2023-24 campaign.
