The Vancouver Canucks have announced a number of roster moves on Saturday afternoon including the call-up of Arturs Silovs on an emergency basis.

One day after assigning Max Sasson, Aatu Raty and Mark Friedman to the American Hockey League, the trio are back up in Vancouver, as was expected.

The Canucks have been sending players up and down between the NHL and Abbotsford of the American Hockey League in an effort accrue cap space that they can use to help make a big addition at the trade deadline on March 7th.
