MAJOR | Jets superstar eats a dirty hit: His season is in play and the results could be catastrophic
An absolutely nasty hit took place just moments ago, the Ducks' forward Ryan Strome let his knee fall back behind after Kyle Connor was slipping behind him.
Strome laid a massive knee hit on Connor and has been deemed unfit to return. As a good leader does, Mark Scheifele immediately stepped in and dropped the gloves on Strome. Strome was then issued a game misconduct and will definitely have a hearing for his dirty hit:
'Kyle Connor has gone to the dressing room and won't return after this collision with Ryan Strome, who has been given a game-misconduct.''
Connor, who's already scored 17 goals this season, is a very important part of the Jets' offence and if he turned out to be out for an extended period of time. The result could be catastrophic for the Jets.
