CHAOS IN DALLAS | The game is stopped midway through: NHL Player Safety Department is getting involved
This year's playoffs surely have been one of the busiest for the NHL's Player Safety Department. The questionable occurences have been up to an all-time high and last night's game in the Western Conference Final was a heavy one.
Jamie Benn gave a vicious cross-check straight to Mark Stone's head, the Stars captain was immediately thrown out and assessed a game misconduct, he'll be facing the league for his actions later today.
Max Domi, yes Tie Domi's son, was also involved in an altercation with the Golden Knight's captain and the player has already struck him with a 5K fine:
'Dallas' Max Domi has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for Slashing against Vegas' Mark Stone.''
Chaos occurred in Dallas as the game needed to be stopped midway through since the fans were throwing things onto the ice to show their disappointment. The Stars issued an official statement regarding the fans' behavior:
The Stars will now be facing elimination as the Knights have taken a 3-0 lead. The way things have gone in this series it's hard to think they're going to pull through and make a comeback.
