After speaking with the media it shed some light on just what has kept Canucks winger Brock Boeser out of the lineup. Boeser has missed the last week plus, only days after debuting in the lineup this season after having pre season wrist surgery.
Anyone who has had any kinds of surgery can attest to the concern & sheer mystery of how your skin seems to re-envelope your body after having been intruded upon. Imagine now trying to speed that process up, while also putting professional hockey stresses on the wound site, not to even mention the infection risks around dirty hockey gloves.
Here's to hoping this acts as a catalyst for Boeser to focus his game, now working with a half dozen less games than expected. It's left to wonder what this season will hold for the Minnesota sniper, with a big year he could find himself a candidate for a blockbuster trade with impending Bo Horvat contract negotiations in the on deck circle.
Regardless of where the season ENDS, it's safe to say the 25 year old, and I'm sure Coach Boudreau as well, are both hopeful Brock is back in the lineup tomorrow.
You want success for this guy, he's ultra likeable, but is that success going to be here in Vancouver?
